What is the monthly tuition and due date?
Prepaid tuition is $350 and due on 1st of month.
Will tuition and fees be prorated or refunded?
Program tuition or fees are not refundable for missed days due to illness, vacation, or APS closures.
When will parents be able to register their child?
Registration will open in July and parents can enroll their children on our website.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, the registration fee is $50 per child and there is a family discounted rate for families with more than one child. See the Admissions page for more details.
Are students that participate in enrichment clubs required to register with after school?
Yes, Enrichment Clubs are managed by It's About Time After School. Any child attending Enrichment Clubs must be registered with It's About Time.
What is the drop-in fee for after school?
Drop-in fees are for students who are registered for It’s About Time After School, but not enrolled in a monthly plan. Parents who’s children are registered but not enrolled must pay a daily $30 drop fee before their children can attend after school. If a child is brought to after school from an enrichment club due to a parent running late, the parent must pay the $30 drop-in fee.
Similarly, If a child is enrolled in an enrichment club and the enrichment club is cancelled for some reason, the $30 drop-in fee per child will be paid by the enrichment club.
Are we accepting Pre-k students?
Yes, Pre-K students must be four on September 1 to attend It's About Time After School, while Kindergarteners must be five on or before September 1.
What’s the mentor team leader-to-child ratio?
Our ratio is one mentor team leader to every twenty children.
Are children divided into groups by age?
Yes, children are divided into five groups: pre-k, kindergarten, first and second, third and fourth, and fifth. Group assignment may be changed to accommodate enrollment numbers.
What does the daily schedule consist of?
Our daily schedule consist of restroom breaks, attendance, outside and gym time, snack, STEAMS activity, free play, homework, etc.
Are snacks provided?
Yes. However, If your children requires a snack other than what we provide, the parent is responsible for providing their child with a nut free snack for after school. We are a nut free program.
What is the homework policy?
There is an allotted time for homework. It is the parent's responsibility to check their child's homework daily, and It's About Time is an After School program does not offer tutoring services. Mentors team leaders will monitor homework and assist as needed.
Is computer screen time permitted?
Yes, 20 to 30 minutes.
Is there a dress code for staff?
Yes, all staff will wear the assigned It's About Time After School shirts. Site director will wear a polo shirt and khakis. Mentor team leaders will wear a t-shirt and jeans, with no cuts or holes.
What is It’s About Time After School program’s approach to discipline?
It's About Time rules are clear and concise, and staff will lead by example and communicate expected behavior. If a child is having trouble following the rules, the site director will reach out to the parent to implement a behavior strategy plan.
